The North American Butterfly Association (NABA) is a non-profit organization working to increase public enjoyment and conservation of butterflies.

The New York (NYNABA) chapter meets (usually) on the first Wednesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.  We meet in Central Park, in the building known as the '79th Street Yard',  just across from the American Museum of Natural History.

Meetings include a review of 'field notes' from the membership, followed by a slide presentation.   Our members are interested in most natural history topics, but especially: butterflies and moths, dragonflies, other insects, birds and flowering plants.
